Vision

The Slate GR is a college/young adults ministry for those between the ages of 18-28. We exist in the city as a place for young adults to be equipped, inspired and challenged to be committed disciples of Jesus Christ. We do this in three ways:

CONNECT

We believe in an active, vibrant and passionate relationship with God where we are continually connecting with Him through worship. In the presence of God we find hope, strength, healing, deliverance and restoration. The more that we connect with God through worshipping Him in total surrender, the more we are made like Him.

COMMUNICATE

God is still speaking to this generation. He is communicating His plan and purpose for our lives through His word. We devote ourselves to studying the Word to help us grow and to better understand our purpose in life. The messages at the Slate are foundational and relevant to your life as a young adult. As we hear the Word of God communicated to us and we apply it in our lives, we become better disciples of Jesus.

COMMUNITY

We were not meant to go through life alone. We were created to have relationships with one another and to live and grow inside a community. We strive to create an environment that promotes community and allows people to connect with one another. The Slate is a place where you can be challenged and encouraged in your faith.
